Christkindl Miracle
Updated 5/17/2021

The German story of the gift-bringing Christkindl (Christ Child) inspired this small subseries to the Alpine Village. The Department 56 interpretation portrays Ferdinand Serti kneeling in front of a tree containing a carved wax statue of the child. Austrian lore states that Serti was cured of epilepsy as a result of praying before the statue.
